  • What is left over after grinding a stump ?

    After a stump is grinding you are left with various sized wood chips. Depending on the size and number of stumps, it can make a big mess and leave behind a large pile of wood chips.  Cleanup may be provided for an additional charge.  Please ask for more details when discussing your project.

  • Can I plant where the stump was removed ?

    Depending on what you want to plant yes. The small chips of wood left in the soil after grinding, as they decompose, make a good organic amendment to the soil. You will need to fill in the hole left by the removal of the stump with good dirt.Trees and shrubs will not be able to be planted directly over the area, as the roots will not have the proper growing room.

  • What is the minimum cost to remove a stump ?

    We have a $200 Minimum fee to come out and grind stumps. Please contact us with any questions or to schedule a free quote.

  • What type of payment methods do you accept?

    We currently accept checks and cash.

  • Why should a stump be grinded ?

    A stump left on your property causes a tripping hazard and makes it difficult to mow and take care of your lawn. It also leads to more insects and pests in your yard. Plus, it might start to sprout, and these sprouts can take over your yard and steal nutrients from other plants. Stump grinding is a very effcient way to have your stumps removed.

    We always set up an appointment with DigSafe before a job to ensure we do not hit any under ground utilities in your yard.
